01Who We Are

A Family Club

Our Club is family-orientated and is run by parents for their children. The club, at one stage was the biggest in the country and has over 65 registered players entered in every league, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, Senior and Ladies.

Two head coaches lead the sessions: Nigel and Andrew Allen, both former England internationals with more than thirty-five years in the game between the bench and the rink.

Behind them stand fourteen qualified coaches, fifteen referees and twenty-four accredited timekeepers — nearly all of them parents and former players, and the reason a club this size can run.

Roughly a third of the playing membership is female, a figure the club has worked deliberately to move: this season brought a partnership with WUKA and the launch of Under-11/13 and Under-15/17 girls’ leagues.

Three players are currently playing professionally abroad and seven represent their national team.
